The Anthropological Museum Established in 1975, the museum serves as a tribute to the unique tribes and indigenous communities that have inhabited the Andaman and Nicobar archipelago for thousands of years. It highlights the rich and varied traditions, crafts, and lifestyles of these communities, preserving their heritage for future generations.The museum’s exhibits are arranged chronologically to give visitors a comprehensive view of the history and evolution of the island’s tribal populations. The displays include models of traditional houses, tools, utensils, weapons, and clothing used by the various tribes. These artifacts help illustrate how each community adapted to its surroundings, such as building houses on stilts in swampy areas or crafting spears and bows for hunting.
